Who We Are
Welcome to Kokoro Farm! Kokoro (心) is a Japanese word that means "with heart" or "to have heart". We are an organic cut flower and vegetable farm located in the Gallatin Valley. Our mission is to provide locally and ethically grown, diversified crops best suited for our cold climate. We hope you enjoy our offerings and join us in experiencing the rich colors and flavors of our season!
What we do
Our small-scale organic farm produces cut flowers through spring, summer, and fall, dry flowers through fall and winter, and vegetables through most of the year. We use organic farming methods based on ecosystem management, crop rotation, cover cropping, and rotational grazing to maintain and increase long-term soil fertility and promote biodiversity- absolutely no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. We focus on diversified crops and varieties suited for our cold climate that are beautiful, delicious, fun, and interesting. Products are available through a CSA, online store, farmers' markets, and farm stands.
